Ford entered the 1965 production car race in 1965 with the GT350R, developed by Carol Shelby based on the Mustang. The Shelby GT-350 was detuned and sold to the general public. Like the race version, it is equipped with the Cobra 289 V8. High beam headlamps came in two types depending on the state: those placed in the center of the grille and those placed at both ends of the grille, but the kit reproduces the central design
