The Ford GT is an unusual but fast car. The original, very first model of the "Ford GT" was created in the 1960s, better known as the "GT40". The car then took part in the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans against the Ferrari V12, winning first, second and third place. In 2005, inspired by the victory, the company created a model based on it called the "Ford GTX-1".
