F/A-18D Hornet - Trumpeter 06234

The F/A-18 Hornet is a supersonic multirole, fighter, and strike aircraft capable of operating from land bases and aircraft carriers. The aircraft has the ability to refuel during the flight. It is equipped with dual engines and tails, and its light weight gives it incredible maneuverability. McDonnell Douglas originally developed the first aircraft in November of 1978. Soon after that, 380 of A versions were produced. Later, the production switched to the C version. Variants A and C are single-seat aircraft, while B and D are tandem seats. This kit includes 78 parts for assembling a set of F/A-18D aircraft in 1/350 scale. The completed models are 4.9cm long and have a wingspan of 3.5cm.
