DESCRIPTION
US Navy OS2U - Trumpeter 06249

The OS2U Kingfisher was produced by Vought and introduced in 1938. For much of WWII, it was American primary observation and reconnaissance aircraft. Designed to be launched from catapults and able to land on water, this monoplane was operating out of the US Navy's battleships and cruisers. A total of 1519 airframes were constructed. This kit includes 42 plastic parts for assembling a set of OS2U Kingfishers for warships in a 1/350 scale. The completed models are 2.9cm long and have a wingspan of 3.1cm.
