Having already won the team title prior to the final race, there was more tension in the last race in Hockenheim than expected. A mass pile-up led to a restart involving just 12 remaining cars. In this rump field, the South African driver Sheldon van der Linde managed an unexpected third place and was rewarded with the 2022 DTM drivers' championship trophy. Now you have a real winner's car!
