US Navy SWIFT BOAT Mk.I
Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Patrol Craft Fast, an all aluminum 50 feet long boat, developed for coast patrol and interior waterways patrol/interdiction during Vietnam War. They used to carry a crew of six men and their common armament was a twin .50 caliber M2 Browning in a turret over the pilot house and a .50 caliber and 81mm mortar in the rear deck. Note that mortar was not kind of gravity mortar, but fired by a lanyard. It still had to be reloaded by the muzzle.
Kit consists of about 93 plastic parts, includes display stand and features a single piece hull. Includes decal sheet with 3 markings for PCF-9, PCF-65 and PCF-103 boats.
